COVID-19: Midas Displays Update - 17th June 2020

UPDATE - 17th June 2020:
Midas are pleased to annouce that as of the 1st of July, 2020, those members of staff who have been placed on Furlough leave, will begin a phased return to the business. In order to keep our office a COVID secure workplace, these members of our team will be reintroduced on a one-day-in, one-day-out basis. The members of our team that have continued to work full-time during the pandemic, either from home, or from the office, will continue to do so.

Mike Halpin, Managing Director and CEO, believes this will be both the safest, and most practical way to introduce a 'new normal' way of working, "We are grateful to the members of our team that have been placed on temporary furlough leave for having the patience and understanding during this strange period, and also to those who have continued to work and maintain the business operations. We believe that a phased return to work will allow the team to keep the office safe in a socially distanced manner, whilst providing our customers with continued excellent service. Midas are committed to keeping our staff as safe as possible during this pandemic, whilst returning them to a 'new-normal' work environment. Whilst priding ourselves on the service and support we give our customers, we are a family here at Midas, and we are looking forward to seeing everyone together again, taking the business forward".

The pandemic continues to affect people all over the world. We are working closely with our manufacturing partners in the Far East, but please be aware that there are still extended lead times on most lines.

Midas continues to operate and are providing our customers with the products, and services, that they require during this unprecedented time. Midas are a ‘key business’, supplying a number of crucial industries during this pandemic, such as medical and food processing.
 
The company is operating within government guidelines, whilst also protecting our business and vulnerable employees. Members of our sales and engineering team continue to provide a high level of customer service, and our operations department are working fantastically well to ensure that customers are receiving the products that they need.

We are continuing to work closely with our manufacturing partners in the Far East, but please be aware that there are still extended lead times on most lines.
