Midas Introduce New Dial OLED
Published: 12/05/2021
Midas Displays are pleased to offer a new ‘dial’ OLED module. The product has a capacitive touch screen, and a rotary switch module.
This module gives the user input through both the capacitive touch screen, and rotary switch module. This sleek design gives the user dual interface, and removes the need for additional push buttons, leaving one component to control the entire application.
Mark Lovick, Sales Manager, Midas Displays said, “This dial OLED provide a very interesting addition to our OLED range. The product is very industry specific but could provide the perfect solution for certain applications. We are pleased to offer our customers this new option, as well as a number of other capacitive touch OLEDs, which are becoming increasingly popular”.
The module is sized at 1.18”, has a 128 x 128 resolution, and two interface options: SPI and I²C. The operating temperature range is -20˚C to +50˚C, with a white dot on black background appearance.
These displays are ideal for vending products, such as coffee machines, and for audio products. With audio products, these dial OLEDs could allow the user to adjust the volume using the rotary switch, and touchscreen to select a song.
