E-Paper Warning Signage

Midas Displays have recently announced the introduction of new modules and colours to our E-Paper (E-Ink) range. This technology features ultra-low power consumption, exceptional viewing angles, on an ultra-thin display.
 
Warning signs have long been used in many industries, and recently, due to the emergence of the COVID-19 virus, more and more health and safety signs are being seen in work places. E-Paper technology is ideal for these signs. The technology has already been useful in signage, with the retail industry already using the technology to good effect with product pricing. During the pandemic, there has been a need for ‘please wear a facemask’ signage, but the need for these signs may change in time, and E-Paper would allow the user to change this sign to display a different message.
 
Bi-stable technology allows E-Paper displays to retain an image after power is turned off, further power would only be required when the image needs to be refreshed. This technology makes E-Paper perfect for warning signs, as they will not need to be changed regularly, and will save costs on power consumption whilst the display is turned off.
 
Midas E-Paper range includes sizes from 0.97” to 13.30”, with more sizes being developed. Black, red, yellow, and blue, e-ink colours are available, all on a white background.
