Midas Displays is pleased to announce a new partnership with CLAF Guangzhou Science and Technology Co., Ltd. (CLAF), bringing CLAF’s extensive range of power supply solutions to Midas customers across the United Kingdom.
The partnership represents a natural extension of Midas’ existing product offering. Power supplies are an essential part of electronic and display-based projects, and by adding a dedicated range of power solutions, Midas can now offer customers an even broader selection of products and support through a single, trusted supplier.
Introducing CLAF
CLAF is a specialist power electronics manufacturer focused on the development and supply of power conversion and related electronic solutions. Its portfolio covers a broad range of AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies, designed to support applications across industrial and commercial markets.
The company’s product range includes AC/DC enclosed power supplies from 15W to 5000W, DIN-rail power supplies from 15W to 960W, and encapsulated power supplies from 3W to 120W. CLAF also offers a comprehensive selection of DC/DC solutions, including fixed-input, wide-input and non-isolated products, with power ratings extending into the kilowatt range.
This breadth gives CLAF the ability to address a wide variety of power requirements, from compact embedded electronics through to higher-power industrial systems. For Midas customers, it also means greater flexibility when selecting a power solution to complement a display, sensor or wider electronic system.
A complementary addition to the Midas range
For many of the projects Midas supports, the display is only one part of the overall electronic system. Ensuring that the chosen display receives the correct, reliable and appropriate power is equally important to the success of a finished product.
The new partnership with CLAF allows Midas to help customers address both sides of this requirement.

This approach enables customers to engage with Midas from the early stages of a project, whether they need help selecting a standard component or require a more tailored solution.

A key benefit of the partnership is the combination of CLAF’s power supply expertise with Midas’ established UK-based technical and commercial support.
Midas has been supporting customers since 2000 and specialises in the design, manufacture and supply of display and sensor products and accessories. Its UK engineering team works alongside its technical sales team to provide application support, product recommendations and customised solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
