Midas Displays is pleased to offer displays featuring quantum dots technology. This technology significantly increases the overall brightness of the display and improves its colour by optimising how much light the pixel can emit.
The benefits of Quantum dots display technology include:

These displays can produce a colour gamut of up to 50% higher than standard display panels. The use of mini-LED backlights stops the light leakage that you get with traditional LED backlights, whilst providing better backlight performance and dimming control. The result is deeper blacks and more vibrant colours. Energy efficiency in this technology is also higher when compared to traditional technology, with up to 50% less power consumed. This energy performance can be attributed to the better backlight and dimming control.
This technology is visual performance match to AMOLED displays, whilst being more cost-effective, and more durable. They are suitable for a variety of applications due to their excellent visual features, for example, the high colour gamut makes them ideal for medical applications where the detail is key.
