EDT Smart Embedded® products, enables you to add a modern GUI with high-end graphics and smooth animation to any system without the overhead of a memory and power demanding operating system.
The controller board is integrated with the display as one compact module. It includes all necessary circuits to control the TFT display module, backlight, PCAP Touch sensor and the GUI application. A custom designed Cover Lens can be added to give each customer product a unique expression.
The graphic framework is based on TouchGFX and FreeRTOS which gives a high efficienct and low power solution with very little overhead for running the Graphic User Interface.
This series of highly integrated modules are intended to be used as intelligent display modules with touchpanel and integrated driver board with MCU, Memory and a number of interfaces.
The MCU used is from STMicroelectronics with long longevity support, integrated TFT Controller and a variety of interfaces.
Excellent connectivity options like RS232, RS485, CAN, I2C, TCP/IP, SPI, USB-OTG Serial Class, GPIO are available on the Smart Embedded® module and some modules also include Ethernet/PoE.
The industrial interfaces enables you to control your new or existing system and the I2C/SPI can connect to all kind of Sensors, BLE, Wi Fi, LoRa modules etc. – Memory stick, SD card, serial boot loader for field firmware upgrade. MJPEG Video player on some MCU`s.
